● Levia Gran
The protagonist. A moe character with pink hair and pink eyes, and a beauty capable of bringing a kingdom to ruin.
Sixteen years old.
Inside, she is a man named Shinnosuke Kihara, who in his previous life was apparently an absurd winner at life: incredibly handsome, founder of a major corporation, and married to a beautiful wife with an adorable daughter.
Her goal is to get married, bully her husband, and live extravagantly on his money.
That said, Shinnosuke himself is straight, so what exactly she plans to do after getting married remains unclear.
● Ney Shariq
A tall, dark-skinned woman with red hair tied in a ponytail. She also has large breasts.
Twenty-five years old and single.
She has the dignified air of a warrior, but inside she is a maiden at heart. Far too much of one, in fact, which has given her standards so high that she has yet to find anyone to marry.
Her ideal is a “prince on a white horse,” though apparently plenty of other types work for her too.
● Lieselotte Regial
A blond, blue-eyed Red Riding Hood with long hair worn in twin braids.
A flat-chested fourteen-year-old who gets angry if you call her flat-chested.
She is an exceptionally skilled mage and the conscience of Poppy Anemone. That said, growing up in the absolute middle of nowhere has left her rather ignorant of common knowledge.
For now, at least, she apparently has no desire to get married.
● Evans
A royal knight. He fell in love with Levia and confessed to her, but was fortunate enough to escape at the last possible moment.
I couldn’t be bothered to come up with a last name, so don’t ask.
● Land Etig
A middle-aged traveling merchant who wears a turban. Currently saddened because his daughter has started keeping her distance from him.
● Lulu Etig
Land’s daughter. Six years old, with chestnut hair worn in braids.
A thoroughly girly girl who loves fashion, princesses, and things like that.
● Anna Etig
Land’s daughter and Lulu’s older sister. Apparently quite good at looking after people.
● Gawain Galadin
A textbook handsome knight with blond hair and blue eyes. A gentleman who speaks politely to everyone.
One of Pendran’s Twelve Knights, bearing the title “Knight of the Sun.”
He is an earnest man with a strong sense of justice, though he seems to be a little off in certain ways.
● Arthur Pendran
The lord of Pendran, holding the rank of count.
He wears his dark-brown hair slicked back and has an equally impressive brown beard.
If one particular part of him hadn’t been fake, his territory might have ended up in financial ruin.
● Cecilia Valfore
Daughter of Aleph Valfore, Pope of the Ludios faith.
A gentle-looking young woman with blond hair.
Despite being a priestess, she also has an exceptional figure. Absolutely scandalous.
● Judith Olden
A female knight with short orange hair. More about her in the next chapter.
● Theo
A mysterious beastkin boy. Silver hair, cat ears, and a cat tail—the sort certain ladies simply cannot resist.
Apparently possesses a Rare Skill that allows him to control monsters.
● Theo’s Brother
A mysterious beastkin man. He appears to be Theo’s older brother and likewise has silver hair and cat ears, though unlike his younger brother he is a sharp-looking handsome man.
He dresses like a ninja and fights like one too, but apparently has a weakness for seduction techniques.
● Tanaka
A great man who had an enormous influence on Levia’s outlook on life.
A genuinely tragic man with a full-time homemaker wife who does no housework and a daughter who looks down on him.
Probably the type who works overtime because he doesn’t want to go home. Incidentally, he was already a department head at the time, so he didn’t even get overtime pay.
He was actually fairly fond of Shinnosuke, but there was one thing he simply could not forgive.
Shinnosuke had made him a department head because he had a barcode head.
Worse, he publicly announced that this was the reason, causing everyone around them to go, “Ah, that makes sense,” which made it even harder to forgive.
And as if that weren’t enough, when Shinnosuke was battling the president of another company with a Barcode Battler, he used Tanaka as his trump card.
Driven by rage, Tanaka dismantled a Barcode Battler, extracted the software from its control chip, disassembled it, and attempted to analyze the program. In the process, he discovered that scanning one particular barcode produced cheat-level stats.
He began plotting to turn Shinnosuke’s own hairstyle into a cheat code someday, and from then on always carried a pair of clippers bought with his meager spending money inside his coat…
…but Shinnosuke died before he ever got the chance, leaving Tanaka with a profound sense of loss in more ways than one.
That concludes the introduction of Tanaka.
